Teacher keeps a beat in some way while singing the song. The student simultaneously copy the teacher&rsquo;s movement. On the 2nd repetition, the teacher changes their movements to keep a beat in another way.</p> <p>Take turns going around the circle with each student creating a new movement for the group to simultaneously copy.</p> <p><strong><u>Adaptation</u></strong></p> <p>Provide a &ldquo;safety dance&rdquo; that students can choose if they are unable or unsure of creating their own. This still allows assessment of beat keeping skill.</p>
