My goal is to remove barriers to accessible music education. To keep these resources free and widely available, I ask that you respect the following guidelines regarding how they are used and shared.
What you can do (permitted uses)
You are highly encouraged to use, share, and adapt these materials for your educational environment. You are free to:
- Print and distribute: Use the materials freely in your physical classroom, concerts, and school events.
- Digital integration: Post the files on closed, internal learning management systems like Google Classroom, Canvas, or Seesaw for your students.
- Curriculum sharing: Link to these resources in your district curriculum guides, university syllabi, or professional development handouts.
- Adapt and modify: Alter the notation, activities, or formatting to meet the specific IEP accommodations or accessibility needs of your students.
What you must do (attribution)
If you share or adapt these resources outside of your own private classroom use, you must provide proper credit.
- Include a visible credit to MeetThemInMusic.com.
- Provide a direct link back to the specific resource page or the homepage.
- If you modify the notation, indicate that changes were made, but do not imply that Meet Them in Music endorses your specific adaptation.
What you cannot do (prohibited commercial use)
These resources are explicitly non-commercial. You may not use this material for commercial purposes or financial gain. This means:
- No reselling: You cannot sell the notation, PDFs, or activities on platforms like TeachersPayTeachers, Etsy, or personal storefronts.
- No bundling: You cannot include these resources as part of a larger paid lesson plan or curriculum bundle.
- No paywalls: You cannot host these files on a website or blog that requires a paid subscription to access them.
